The joint venture Seymour-Screen Excellence (SSE) has released a newly updated version of its Reference Fixed Frame line of screen products for the North American market.

The newly upgraded line features the venture’s Infinite Black velvet border material, which SSE claims, absorbs 99.7 percent of projected light to enable the screen to produce sharp images with minimized overscan. Also included in the upgrades was an improvement to SSE’s Enlightor 4K acoustically transparent screen material. The Elightor 4K is an Imaging Science Foundation (ISF) certified product that’s designed to work with resolutions as high as 4K video.

The line of products can be used where a stealth, large screen A/V solution is required. The screens are available in a choice of 1.78:1 or 2.37:1, in sizes up to 250 inches wide.
