Peavey is pretty well known around musician and pro audio circles. Now, they’re looking to get out more—literally. The company just announced the Peavey PVX Series, a line of portable loudspeakers.

This line will launch with the 12-inch PVX 12 and the 15-inch PVX 15. Each one comes packing the Peavey RX14 1.4-inch titanium diaphragm compression driver, coupled to a constant directivity horn to handle high and mid-high frequencies. Peavey woofers with 2.3-inch voice coils are also present, for the lows and low-mids.

Designed to be lightweight but rugged, both two-way loudspeaker systems can handle 400 watts program and 800 watts peak power. This makes this option perfect for live music, speech, and other sound reinforcement applications.

Housed in a durable, injection-molded enclosure, each model includes a pole mount, three multi-point flying locations and a tilt-back design.

The Peavey PVX Series is available now, via authorized Peavey retailers. The PVX 12 has an MSRP of $299.99 ($199.99 street), with the PVX priced at $399.99 ($249.99 street).
