Available in 22- and 46-inch sizes, this touchpanel is designed to support 720p and 1080p content from almost any source. It also doesn’t need a PC to drive the content—unless that’s what you really want. Otherwise, the display can be easily paired with a media player, a DVD player, and more.

Why choose a transparent display over an LCD or plasma? Crystal Displays says that transparent technology boasts a transmittance rate of over 20 percent for black and white and 15 percent for color. This is on top of the company saying that the tech consumes 90 percent less electricity than a backlit LCD. That’s because a transparent LCD panel uses ambient light such as sunlight. No backlighting is needed.
