It’s always important to use products that are not only functional, but reliable in a variety of circumstances in public spaces.

Canadian manufacturer Camden Door Controls recently updated its line of Sure-Wave products when it introduced its CM-324 series of stainless steel switches that are designed to withstand the rigors of abuse in public areas.

The CM-324 series of products are available in a choice of single-gang and double-gang models, as well as a choice of blank or graphic icon that says “wave to open.” Camden says the products are engineered to mount flushly to standard electrical boxes and they provide an operating range of 1 to 26 inches. The Toronto-based company adds the products operate on 12 to 24 volts AC/DC and have heavy duty 5-amp relays to ensure compatibility with all automatic door operators and electrified locks.

The switches can be used in commercial industrial and institutional facilities.
